- They were delighted to have the opportunity to meet Barry Andrews and found his discussion on lobbying very useful and interesting - he gave them useful tips on how to lobby and how the personal touch goes a long way
- Students realised how important it was to always remain polite when lobbying and make sure you know your facts
- The tour of the Dail was interesting - it's smaller than they thought
- Overall the day was worthwhile and was an experience they can use in the future when highlighting an issue.

From a teacher's viewpoint, I was very happy with the day. It gave the girls the opportunity to visit the Dail and see how it works. Both Cian and Dermot spoke very well and Cian's presentation inspired the girls - his examples helped illustrate how successful campaigns can be if correctly run. I would love if another such day could be organised and that members of different parties would be present to enrich the day further.
